I have to admit that sometimes to do your own 'fixit" jobs can be overwhelming but with a little patience and good luck can be rewarding. When are you going to NM. I have a ranch in Lincoln County, near Ruidoso/Roswell where my "Silver Dollar" is permanently parked along with a couple of campsites. Enjoy the Butte.

I had one that I had to pull out with a Come along hooked to a tree. Some of the screws become so rusted that the heads have to be cut off. One good thing is that the frames that hold them in are slotted and thin so that they can be cut out with a wide sharp putty knife if the screws are all rusted in. It can be a several hour job with the worst of them.

Once it has removed it I realized removing it was not necessary. May add a electric rod or a electric point of use heater along with the gas heater as a back-up and enjoy additional gallonage. This will also permit using shore power for hot water vs: my propane. Enjoy....JC
